Yes it was 97 degrees and yet we had around 500 folks out there to cry out for freedom, support the Tea Party movement and let the world know: “WE ARE STILL HERE AND WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK!”
September 12 shall see a huge march on Washington DC with various Tea Party groups with the message: “TEA, TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY!” For those of us who are unable to go, there will be a Tea Party on the Capitol Steps of Salem Oregon that Saturday Sept 12.
For those who have not signed the referendum petion, can sign at this event. The referendum to stop the Tax Increases from the Oregon Legislature will start collecting signatures the beginning of August.

Tha video and commentary was forwarded to me. The following video is by a guy named Dr. Bob Basso acting as Thomas Paine. Since the release of this video, he has been requested (summoned?) to come to the White house to meet with Pres. Obama. It seems Pres. Obama was “disturbed” by this presentation. At the same time, a talk show host, Jerry Doyle (www.jerrydoyle.com), was contacted by a White House Official and told not to discuss this on his upcoming show (Dr. Basso was supposed to have been appearing on his show on 3/25/09 and was a no show). That show is where I first heard the audio of this clip as Jerry Doyle ignored the Officials warning and aired the clip anyway.
